I purchased this on the day the XBOX was released here in the UK and it’s ok I guess.  Another one man stand, against the forces of evil; in this case its another bunch of aliens.  At the beginning of the game, you’re looking for this ring.  It turns out to be a massive landmass that supports a breathable atmosphere.  You start on a spacecraft and as soon as you have checked out your space suit, your attacked by a bunch of aliens who want to stop you defeating the covenant.

So off you go to the nearest pod ship and after man battles, find yourself on the surface of the ring thing.  This is where it gets interesting.  The alien dudes whose name escapes me, also start to land on the surface of the ring.  There must be something valuable on the ring for both parties to be looking here.

Well you know what to expect when the posse turns up to wipe you from the face of the planet.  Just on thing; this is just a standard FPS, nothing special.  I would recommend Half Life 2 if you want something better.
