Raiden Fighters is different to the first two iterations.  It’s a lot faster and the action is a lot more intense.  You have the usual weapons but, it reminded me more of Strikers 1945 rather the Raiden and Raiden 2.  It is a very good game and if you can play the game, I would recommend playing it.

At the moment, the only way you can play it is if you have a version of MAME 106 and newer.  Mame can also play Raiden Fighters 2 and Raiden Fighters Jet.   Raiden 2 and DX aren’t working roms yet but you can play them on the PSX emulator.

You can get the roms if you Google them.  I can’t advocate piracy but, if it’s the only way you can play the games like myself, go for it.
