Doom 2 used the same engine as Doom but this time had thirty two
levels. Unlike Doom, this version did
not come as a Shareware game. You had
to buy this game or do without. There
was an apparent graphics improvement and if you were using a 486 DX 2X66
machine. The 2X represented the fact
that the Cpu was running twice the speed of the motherboard.
