| This mod has been in production
for nearly two years and some would say that I'm late to the table.
The thing that interests me about this mod is that
the team making it, are trying to recreate the entire original Half Life
game, using the Half Life 2 engine and unlike like Half Life: Source;
intend to upgrade every model to the Half life 2 level of detail.

As
you can see from the picture on the left (click on it of a larger
version); this should be an iconic image from the original Half Life
game; when you start the resonance Cascade that opens up the portal
to another dimension and eventually leads to the invasion of
earth before the second game begins. |
The game is being made by fans of the original
game and will probably take another year or so to complete, but is one to
keep an eye out for. I'm sure it will look poor compared to
anything commercially available at the time of release, but taking into
account that it will be free, is something true fans of the original
game will over look.
