Now this does make a change for the Japanese.  No post-apocalyptic society that is trying to destroy itself.  This mini ova series is four episodes long.  I think it’s another A.I.C production.  In the future man has colonised Mars and androids are now a common sight.  The first episode starts on a plane or spacecraft depending on your view.  On the plane is a dodgy looking person who seems to be going out of his way to look suspect.   When the plane lands and the passengers are on a train going to the stations entrance; something blows up on board the train.  The train eventually makes it to the station and this weird girl dressed up like a hooker appears and starts to talk to the other man on the train.  He is a police man that has transferred from Earth to Mars.  As they talk, a man walks past and, (by the way I forgot to tell you the two peoples names.  The girl is Detective Armitage and lets just call him Bob, I don’t remember his name at all,) Suddenly pulls out a gun and start shooting at this man pulling a bag.  The bag opens and inside is the body of a famous singer.  Confusing!  It turns out that the singer was in fact an android, a third generation to be precise.  Why would this man be trafficking an android and why?

You latter learn that Armitage is in fact a third generation as well. This would explain the desire to confront the killer but doesn’t explain why he had killed her in the first place.  It also doesn’t explain why as time goes on the third generation are only women.  Well as the plot unfolds we learn that the third generation are different to the second in ways that seem impossible.  I won’t say anymore, as it will spoil the story.  All I will say is the reason is quite an interesting diversion to the usual reason for wanting to kill them.
