First of all I have to say is
this. I FUC-KING LOVE THE INCREDIBLE HULK. I don't care if
it wasn't considered the best movie ever but as far as I'm concerned, it
was the Hulk movie that I have waited almost thirty years for.
Before I blow my load, I guess I should tell you something about the
film.
The main characters
So what is the movie about? In a
strange way, it seems to follow the travesty that was the Ang Lee movie
and has Bruce living in Brazil. He is followed by Tim Roth's
character, who is working for the General and his job is to capture the
Hulk. It doesn't work out the way he planed and the Hulk first
appears here and escapes.
Bruce makes his way some how back to his old
flame Betty and believe me when I say this that, Liv Tyler looks awesome
and if I had anyone as good looking as her, I would be making my way
back to find her as well. (I'm and ugly bastard and no women would
give me a second look, oh well.)
I am not going to tell you another thing about
the film except that it is so good that I had a tear in my eye and I'll
tell you why.
Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno from the original
TV series are in it, they play the piano music from the end of the
original show from the seventies. The hulk actually says, "Hulk
smash" and is what I wanted. The hulk didn't need an answer to his
place in society, he didn't need to understand his insecurity complex or
his purpose in society. He only needed to hear those two words.
Hulk Smash.
I have waited thirty years for this movie and
all I can say is, you might want to stay out of my way when this movie
is available on DVD or Blu-ray. I might have to kill you to get
the money for this film. I have to have this film and the last
film that had me in a dizzy like this was Gladiator, where I almost got
killed afterwards, when I walked out of the cinema and was nearly killed
by an on coming car. This is Hulk and nothing more. If you
have never read any of the comics or watched the cartoon, this will seem
like the ranting of a mad man .
