The final part of the space opera.  Did you know that one of the major influences on these films was the books writtend by E.E.Doc Smith, called the Lensman series.

So the first thing they have to do is rescue Han from Jabba the hut.  Luke makes his way into the base and eventually gets tricked to fight some creature.  Jabba decides to drop the all into the mouth of some sand creature whose mouth protrudes out of the sand.  A skirmish latter and  Luke goes back to see Yoda who finishes off Lukes training.  He finds the man to be very impatient but Obi remind Yoda how impatient he was when he was the same age.

Luke rejoins the fleet; where he finds out that the empire are building a new death star and even though it’s not complete, still needs to be destroyed.  They learn of the fact that the death star is shielded by the nearest planet.

They make their way to the planet where they are separated.  Leah is knocked unconscious and the others go looking for her get caught by these annoying furry creatures, who start to worship CP3O and take them back to the village where Luke tell CP3O to tell them to let him go, or you will get angry.  Luke makes CP3O fly and they agree not to cook the others.

Luke decides he must give himself up and goes to where the nearest base is.  He is met by his father and he tries to reach the better half of his father.  Vader take Luke to see the boss.  The emperor test Luke out by trying to get him angry; he eventually surcomes to the emperors wishes and attacks him; where Vader intervenes. 

In the fight that ensues; Vader learns of his sister and maybe she could join the dark side.  This upsets Luke and he beats Vader to an inch of his life but doesn’t kill him.  The emperor decides to kill Luke but, Vader throws the emperor over the balcony.  Luke takes him to the ship and just before they enter, Vader tells him to take of his helmet before he dies and then says some strange.  “Tell your sister that she was right, she was right.”  WTF is he talking about?  He never knew about a daughter until a few moments ago.  Lucas; stop writing scripts, you suck.  In fact you suck at everything

Apart from Luke, they go back to where the base is on the planet an eventually blows it up.

In space Lando is in charge of the attack squad in space and when they get near they realise the shield Is still up and on top of that; the death star is operational.  Eventually Lando and his small fleet get to the centre of the death star and they blow the joint. 

Back on the planet nearby Luke burns Vaders body and Leah tells Han the truth between Luke and herself; they’re related, which of coarse pleases Han.  The only thing I don’t get is why Han never asked her about the kiss they had and then threw up.
