I was 14 when this film
came out. I had visited Trinidad
& Tobago with my mother and it was interesting. I didn’t really enjoy this film until many years latter.
At the beginning of the
movie; we see something fire out of a space ship that lands on Earth and then
the intro start with Arnold S shall we call him. He plays a commando or marine and has been sent in to speak
with the general. He finds out that
his team need to go across the border and retrieve some diplomats.
So off the go and kick
some butt but it turns out that they had been had and they really had gone to
get some info on the local war.
Before the guys can get too annoyed; one of the crew gets dragged away
when trying to retrieve this woman that tried to escape. (she was captured in
the camp that they had just raided)
When the rest of the team catches up to him, they find that he’s been
gutted and hung from a tree.
This is confusing and gets
everyone thinking what could have done something like this. Latter on the creature appears; well sort
of; they see a camouflaged creature that seems to act like a chameleon and
merge with the background. After
kicking all the teams butts with the exception of two, Arnolds
character realises that someone would have to face it. It would be the only way that they would
survive.
He goes back and sets up a
trap after realising that the thing sees heat and the mud covers his heat
signature. So he sets up an elaborate
trap to kill the thing and guess what happens?
You will just have to go
and watch the movie to find out.
