The predator is back but
this time in the future and Danny Glover that up the lead role for the
sequel. I am sure some people
complained about the choice but, I think he was fine in this film. I would have preferred a little bit of
continuity but you can’t have everything.

In this film we learn of
the gang wars on California and
that some strange things are happening to the gang members. After a few more incidents shall we say;
he decides to speak to one of the head honchos called King Willy. He talks all sorts that don’t really make
sense but later does.
I’m a little bit cryptic
in this review because I don’t want to spoil the film to anyone who has never
seen it before. (sorry)
So of he goes looking for
this thing that spot on the top of the building that the Columbian drug
dealers were on but didn’t realise it at the time. He thought it was a trick of the light or his eyes.
He latter realises that
something is wrong when is partner is shot (I forgot to mention that he’s a
cop) and on a latter investigation of the same room finds a strange tip. On a later inspection, the tip was found
to be not of this world and this interests Danny even more.
So he sends one of his
boys who trace the mysterious behaviour of a CIA agent to a disused warehouse
and this is where he first gets to meet the PREDATOR; a killing machine and
one who hunts for sport. The CIA
agents want to capture the creature and they get their butts handed to them
on a plate. Danny distracts the predator and he legs
it.
I will leave it here; the
film is so good that I wouldn’t want to spoil too much of the film and the
ending is great. It gives the
franchise quite a lot of scope for a (proper) sequel. (I don’t count Aliens
Vs Predator as a proper sequel)
